At TiredSole™, our nurses use the GEHWOL med range at their treatment stations. Product choice is guided by your skin, your foot health and your individual needs.

What is GEHWOL med?
GEHWOL med is a range of targeted foot and nail care products. Different formulas address different needs, from dry skin to rough heels and sensitive skin. It is not one cream for every foot.
Start with what your feet need
GEHWOL is a favourite at our treatment stations. At each appointment, your nurse selects products to suit your skin, nails and care plan.
GEHWOL med Lipidro Cream
For dry, flaky skin. Urea and nourishing oils help moisturize and soften the skin. Ask your nurse how to build it into your daily routine.
GEHWOL med Callus Cream
For rough, thickened skin. Your nurse can advise where it is suitable and how to use it. It does not replace addressing pressure or assessing a painful corn.
GEHWOL med Sensitive
An option to discuss for sensitive skin. Share allergies, irritation and previous product reactions so we can help you choose appropriately.
GEHWOL med Protective Nail and Skin Oil
One of our clinic favourites. We use this as a finishing step after appointments when appropriate for the patient. Wheat germ oil, panthenol and bisabolol condition brittle nails and the surrounding dry skin. It is nail care, not a replacement for diagnosis or treatment of a suspected infection.
GEHWOL Professional Lotion
Our familiar alcohol-based lavender lotion is part of our appointment routine when suitable for your skin. Lavender oil, menthol and glycerin feature in this cleansing and refreshing professional product. Tell us about fragrance sensitivity or irritated skin. This is a different product from a moisturizing cream.

Let your nurse help you choose
Tell us if you have diabetes, reduced feeling, poor circulation, broken skin or a suspected infection. A skin-care product does not replace an assessment or treatment plan. We can explain which product is suitable for you and when another health professional should be involved.
A history built around foot care
- 1868: Eduard Gerlach took over his father’s business in Lübbecke, Germany. The needs of people who spent long days walking and working helped shape his interest in affordable foot care.
- 1882: He developed E. Gerlach’s Praeservativ Cream, an early industrially manufactured foot cream.
- 1910: His son renamed the original product Gerlach’s GEHWOL Fusskrem and registered the GEHWOL name.
- Today: The company continues to develop specialized foot-care products through its own research and development. The range has grown well beyond the original cream.
New look, continued development
GEHWOL has refreshed its brand presentation, and the med range received updated packaging in 2025. The newer design helps distinguish products and their intended uses. Formulas can also change over time, so checking the current label matters even when you have used a product before.
